Intended for phylogeographic applications.

:Parameters:
    desc : string
        free-text description of the location
    points : list of `Point` objects
        coordinates (similar to the 'Point' element in Google's KML format)
    polygons : list of `Polygon` objects
        coordinate sets defining geographic regions
